UBUNTU 6.10 RELEASED

Ubuntu 6.10 releasedUbuntu 6.10 releasedUbuntu 6.10 released

Ubuntu is a complete Linux-based operating system, freely available with both community and professional support. It is developed by a large community and we invite you to participate too!

The Ubuntu community is built on the ideas enshrined in the Ubuntu Philosophy: that software should be available free of charge, that software tools should be usable by people in their local language and despite any disabilities, and that people should have the freedom to customise and alter their software in whatever way they see fit.

These freedoms make Ubuntu fundamentally different from traditional proprietary software: not only are the tools you need available free of charge, you have the right to modify your software until it works the way you want it to.

ubuntu definition

Ubuntu is suitable for both desktop and server use. The current Ubuntu release supports PC (Intel x86), 64-bit PC (AMD64), Sun UltraSPARC and T1 (Sun Fire T1000 and T2000), PowerPC (Apple iBook, Powerbook, G4 and G5) and OpenPower (Power5) architectures.

Ubuntu includes more than 16,000 pieces of software, but the core desktop installation fits on a single CD. Ubuntu covers every standard desktop application from word processing and spreadsheet applications to web server software and programming tools. Google Gadgets on Your Webpage

Now You Can Have Google Gadgets on Your Webpage

Google Gadgets for your webpage can help make a site dynamic and rich with content. Google Gadgets, which have long been available for users to add to the Google homepage and Google Desktop, are now available for webpage owners to add to their own webpages.

Google Gadgets are miniature-sized objects that offer cool and dynamic content that can be placed on any page on the web. A directory of "Google Gadgets for your webpage" is now available for webpage owners everywhere to browse and select gadgets for their own pages, at http://www.google.com/ig/directory?synd=open.

"Now anyone can have a great-looking website with automatically updating content," said Adam Sah, Google Gadgets Architect. "By making Google Gadgets available for you to add to your webpage, we're working to connect developers with enthusiastic consumers and to make information universally accessible and useful to the individual user."

With almost no effort and at no cost, webpage owners can add complex, dynamically updating content to their own websites using Google Gadgets. Because there is such an enormous variety of Google Gadgets to choose from, webmasters also have a great deal of freedom to select only the gadgets that will best complement their own page. There are games, news clips, weather reports, maps, and more.

For example, let's say you are in charge of your club soccer team's website, and you want to add a current weather forecast so your fans can plan for your games or you want to include a daily brainteaser on your site without having to come up with something new everyday. Google Gadgets lets you do this easily. Just visit the directory of "Google Gadgets for your webpage" to find gadgets that you'd like to add to your own page and select your preferences for how the gadget will appear on your page. Then, copy and paste the HTML from the window into the HTML code for your own website. It's an easy way to get the content you need and want without spending hours writing code!

For developers of universal gadgets, Google's making the gadgets available to webpage owners everywhere presents an opportunity for a much larger audience than ever before. We're always looking for great new gadgets so check out http://code.google.com/apis/gadgets/ to learn more about creating them.

THERE MAY BE SOME HIDDEN MESSAGE IN THIS BILL GATES IMAGE FILE.

whenever you see the image its not only the image but sometime there is secret message in the image file. Most of people do this for hiding the message for their own reasons most commonly
used for hiding the video or some private message.

How you do it just simple by simple dos command .

eg: there is two file one is test file or another is image file in the
c:\ directory text file name is "file1.txt" and the image file name

Now what you can do is just open dos prompt and go to c:\ directory where the image and file is stored and just type

copy /b image1.jpg + text1.txt result.jpg

After running this command in the dos prompt. you see there is result.jpg file is made . so you want to see your "text1"file which you just hidden in the result.jpg file . what you do is just rename the result.jpg file extension to .txt and open with your notepad so you see the text1.file which is just hidden in your result.jpg file.

So this process actually hides the text file in the image file even you can hide the video in the image file by doing the same process.

RAPIDSHARE -THE FREE FILE UPLOADER

RAPIDSHARE -THE FREE FILE UPLOADER

The rapidshare is the free uploader for your file in the internet .The mail like yahoo & gmail
give u maximum of 10mb file attachment with your email.if you want to upload more than 10
mb file in these mail services you can't . so if you want to share a file with your friend which has
200 mb or 300mb or even more ,you can share with it through rapidshare site
http://rapidshare.de/.

The current uploading limit of single file in rapidshare is 300mb but can upload a file bigger than
300mb by split it into parts . After you upload the file the rapidshare give u the link which is download link ,which u can share it with your friends . you just send the link to your friend
after that through that link anybody can download the file which you upload in the rapidshare
site.

THERE ARE TWO SERVICES WHICH RAPIDSHARE CURRENTLY OFFER
1)FREE
2)PREMIUM

Free service doesn't cost u anything but for premium services site charged from u.
so what the diffrence between the premium and free services , there is diffrence from the
facilities available between the premium and free users. In free services when u download the file it doesn't support any download accelerator eg: DAP . if u use any download accelerator
disable it first before downloading otherwise u can't download the link but for premium users
this facility is enable.

NOW SOME HACKS FOR DOWNLOADING FILE FROM RAPIDSHARE

when u download a file the rapidshare give u some wait time for starting another
file to download.so u have to wait until the waiting time is finished . so what u do
if you are using the dialup then simply disconnect the internet and connected again you
now see the waiting for rapidshare is gone. if you are using broadband and your broadband service assigning dynamic ip than simply off your modem and started again the waitng time is gone.

eg:touchtel ,bsnl are some broadband isp which assign dynamic ip .

so this is all about rapidshare and some hacks about rapidshare .i hope this article help u.
